Abstract

The invention discloses a measurement system and a method for the infrared radiation property of automobile exhaust. The system integrates an infrared imaging instrument, thermostatic PTC material heating plates and a smooth-surface square aluminium box filled with ice blocks, wherein between the aluminium box and the infrared imaging instrument, a 60 DEG C thermostatic PTC material heating plate and a 80 DEG C thermostatic PTC material heating plate are placed close to the aluminium box; the aluminium box and the heating plates are positioned in the viewing field of the infrared imaging instrument, and the clearance between the heating plates is not more than 2 pixels. The image figures on the infrared imaging instrument are sequentially monitored when tail gas or no tail gas passes through the system, so that the automobile exhaust absorption property can be accurately detected, and the concentration of pollutants can be finally analyzed. The measurement system eliminates errors caused by self-irradiation of the automobile exhaust, and can acquire the self-irradiation, transmissibility and emissivity of automobile exhaust except for the concentration of pollutants, thereby providing important parameters for modeling of target properties, as well as reference for design of some plume target observation systems.
