Abstract

The invention provides a direct axis current protection method and a direct axis current protection device for a PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) transmission system. The method comprises the following steps of estimating the direct axis current of the next moment according to current voltage which is transmitted to a PMSM by an inverter; comparing the direct axis current of the next moment with maximum protection current; if the direct axis current of the next moment is lower than the maximum protection current, continuing transmitting the current voltage to the PMSM; if the direct axis current of the next moment is more than or equal to the maximum protection current, redistributing voltage by using protection direct axis current and protection quadrature axis current, and transmitting the redistributed voltage to the PMSM. According to the method and the device, the direct axis current of the next moment tends to be normal by regulating the voltage, and the redistributed voltage is transmitted to the PMSM under the condition of no changes in the workload of the PMSM; the direct axis current of the next moment is estimated to simulate the actual running condition of the PMSM, and when the direct axis current of the next moment is over-ranged, the PMSM is protected.
