Problems solved by technology

For example, black holes will be generated around strong scatterers, the speckle variance in the uniform background area will increase, the overall brightness of the image will decrease, and even some texture information will be lost.
Artifacts destroy the speckle pattern in background areas and also degrade image quality

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for self-adaptation ultrasonic imaging of a spatio-temporally smoothed coherence factor type. The method comprises the following steps that (1) beam forming preprocessing is conducted; (2) beam forming processing is conducted, wherein beam forming processing comprises the steps that delayed focusing is conducted on each channel received signal, a coherence factor value of the spatio-temporally smoothed coherence factor type is calculated according to the channel received signal after delayed processing, and weighted processing is conducted on the coherence sum of the received signals through coherence factors so that beams of each scanning line can be obtained and output; (3) beam forming post-processing is conducted, wherein beam forming post-processing comprises the steps that envelope detection, logarithm compression, scanning conversion and display are conducted on the scanning lines. According to the method for self-adaptation ultrasonic imaging of the spatio-temporally smoothed coherence factor type, side lobe can be restrained, sound disorder is reduced, the contrast ratio of an image is improved, an artifact is remarkably eliminated, the imaging quality is improved, the calculation complexity is low, and the method is easy to achieve in hardware.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to ultrasonic imaging technology, in particular to a space-time smooth coherent factor-based self-adaptive ultrasonic imaging method. Background technique [0002] As an important part of modern medical imaging technology, ultrasound imaging has been widely used in clinical diagnosis and treatment. Compared with other imaging techniques, its advantages are non-invasive, no ionizing radiation, easy to use, strong real-time performance and low price. However, the quality of ultrasound imaging, such as spatial resolution, contrast resolution, frame rate, etc., is generally not ideal and needs to be further improved. Beamforming is at the core of the entire ultrasound imaging system and plays a decisive role in imaging quality. Currently, delay-and-sum (DAS) beamforming technology is widely used in ultrasound imaging systems. Although it can achieve simple and effective reconstruction of ultrasound images, the beam formed by it has...
