Abstract

The invention discloses a handheld device for measuring gushing flow of a tunnel face. The handheld device comprises a main framework, a handle, a flow speed meter, a flowing water sensor and a data processing device, wherein a plurality of lattice frames are arranged inside the main framework and used for fixing the flow speed meter and the flowing water sensor; the handle is used for bearing the data processing device; the flow speed meter is used for measuring the flow speed of a water flow; the flowing water sensor is used for switching on to a circuit under the action of the water flow; the data processing device can process flow speed acquired by the flow speed meter and positional information acquired by the flowing water sensor, and calculate the section area of the water flow through the positional information so as to calculate the gushing flow within a unit time. The invention further discloses a method applied to the handheld device for measuring the gushing flow of the tunnel face. Through the adoption of the device and the method, the complexity of measuring operation is reduced, the efficiency for measuring the gushing flow on a tunnel construction site is effectively improved, and the accuracy of data is ensured.
