In the aspect of the road network, branch roads are connected with secondary trunk roads, and the secondary trunk roads are connected with main trunk roads; the branch roads cannot be directly connected with the main trunk roads. In the public transportation setting aspect, conventional public transportations are arranged on the secondary trunk roads; BRTs (Bus Rapid Transit) are arranged on the main trunk roads, and special bus transit lanes are arranged in the main trunk roads; large-capacity rail transits (subways or light rails) are paved on express ways, and a distance between stations is more than 2 km; all the stations are arranged near intersections. The layout form of the road network can reduce the intersections on the main roads and effectively increases the running efficiency of the whole road network. With the setting mode of the public transportations, the traffic flow characteristics of all grades of urban roads can be fully utilized to configure corresponding types of public transportation modes, and the running efficiency can be increased.
