Abstract

A communication device comprises a grounding element and an antenna element. The antenna element is adjacent to the grounding element and comprises a first radiation part and a second radiation part. The first radiation part comprises a first part and a second part. The first part is coupled to the second part through an inductance element and coupled to a signal source. The second part comprises a plurality of bent structures, so that a coupling interval is formed between one open end of the second part and the first part. The second radiation part is provided with a short circuit end and an open end. The short circuit end of the second radiation part is coupled to the grounding element. The second radiation part at least partially surrounds the first radiation part to extend. Broadband operation of the antenna element in the communication device does not cause increase of the overall size of the antenna element. In addition, the antenna element can maintain high radiation efficiency within an operating frequency band.
