The linear voltage regulator comprises an error amplifying module, a buffering module, a power module, a feedback resistance module, a load tracing module, a frequency compensation module and a load capacitor. According to the linear voltage regulator, the position of an internal zero point for frequency compensation can be adjusted along with the change of a load current, and when the load current is small, the frequency of an output pole is low, and the frequency of the compensation zero point is low. As the load current is increased, the output pole moves towards the high-frequency direction, the compensation zero point also moves towards the high-frequency direction, the compensation zero point dynamically offsets the output pole, and therefore a loop can be kept stable within a wide load current range. According to the linear voltage regulator, the stability of the linear voltage regulator does not relay on an ESR of the load capacitor, and therefore a ceramic capacitor low in cost and small in size can be selected as the load capacitor. Meanwhile, the linear voltage stabilizer has good power source rejection characteristics and noise characteristics and can meet the power supply requirement of a high-performance artificial circuit.
