The elevator balance coefficient test system comprises a detection emitter, a wireless locking current collector and a mobile terminal, wherein the detection emitter is installed on an elevator counterweight frame and used for judging whether an elevator cage and a counterweight are located at the same horizontal position or not when an elevator carrying different loads straightly moves up and down in the whole course and sending out a wireless signal if yes. The wireless locking current collector is installed on an elevator main circuit and used for receiving a wireless signal and collecting a current value, at the moment, of an elevator driving motor based on the wireless signal, and is wirelessly connected with the detection emitter. The mobile terminal is used for receiving the current value collected by the wireless locking current collector, drawing a curve according to the received current values of different loads through a least square fit and interpolation integrated method, calculating a balance coefficient value, and displaying a test curve and a test result, and is wirelessly connected with the wireless locking current collector. By means of the elevator balance coefficient test system and method, accuracy of a balance coefficient test can be improved, and test efficiency is high.
