The online prediction of face rotation includes the follow steps: (1) according to the human faces of different rotation angles, constructing a classifier corresponding to the rotation angle range on the basis of the Adaboost method, to acquire different cascade detecting structures; and (2) for an image sub-window to be detected, detecting the candidate face area in turn according to the change angles, performing classification detection on the front strong classifiers of the cascade detecting structures of every angle, determining the rotation angle of the area by a threshold comparison method; and for the image sub-window to be detect in the step (2), performing classification detection on the back strong classifier of the cascade detecting structures corresponding to the rotation angle of the human face determined in the step (2), determining whether the sub-window is the human face image under the rotation angle or not.
