Abstract

The invention discloses a control method of a sewing machine, wherein the method can increase the template replacing speed. The sewing machine comprises a machine head used for sewing, an XY feeding mechanism and a control system. The XY feeding mechanism is provided with a feeding base used for installing templates, the feeding base is provided with at least two template installation positions which are arranged side by side, and each template installation position is provided with a sensor and a fixing mechanism, wherein the sensors are used for detecting the templates and the fixing mechanisms are used for fixing the templates. The control system can induct installation of the templates automatically through the sensors, and as long as the templates are installed into the template installation positions, the templates can be automatically locked by the feeding base without the need of pressing a presser foot switch by an operator. The feeding base is provided with the at least two template installation positions, the templates on the template installation positions are switched through the control system for conducting sewing, therefore, non-stop continuous work of the XY feeding mechanism can be realized, the process that in the replacing process of a traditional template, an XY feeding mechanism needs to be stopped for about thirty seconds is omitted, and the sewing efficiency is doubled.
