Abstract

The invention discloses a fire-resistant wire cable material. The fire-resistant wire cable material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of low density polyethylene, 10-30 parts of EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), 15-25 parts of PPO (poly-p-phenylene oxide), 20-40 parts of a fire retardant, 5-15 parts of an anti-aging agent and 60-80 parts of a cross-linking agent. Through the selection of the three basic materials with certain contents for blending, by utilizing the synergistic effect of the three basic materials, the mechanical property of the wire cable is not damaged while excellent fire resistance of the wire cable is realized.
