A plaster for treating cervical spondylotic myelopathy is prepared from 12-18 parts of poria cocos, 32-48 parts of taxillus chinensis, 10-14 parts of cimicifuga rhizome, 8-12 parts of aspidistra elatior, 22-38 parts of curcuma longa, 3-4 parts of atractylodes macrocephala, 62-78 parts of grape seed oil, 15-18 parts of activated carbon, 20-28 parts of ramulus cinnamomi, 35-50 parts of notopterygium root, 12-18 parts of chastetree fruit, 15-20 parts of Chinese starjasmine, 6-8 parts of alginic acid, 2-4 parts of parts of linseed gum, and 70-80 parts of water. A preparing process of the plaster includes: a) smashing the poria cocos, the taxillus chinensis, the cimicifuga rhizome, the aspidistra elatior, the curcuma longa, the atractylodes macrocephala, the activated carbon, the ramulus cinnamomi, the notopterygium root, the chastetree fruit and the Chinese starjasmine into powder having a size of 300 meshes, and fully mixing; b) fully mixing the powder in the step a) with the grape seed oil; c) mixing the alginic acid, the linseed gum and the water at 48-60 DEG C and stirring uniformly; and d) adding the mixture in the step b) into the mixture in the step c), rapidly stirring uniformly and cooling for 48 h.
