Abstract

The invention discloses a freezing and unfreezing method for boar semen. The method includes the steps of: (1) collecting excellent breeding boar semen, conducting semen detection, then carrying out dilution in proportion, and then performing balancing for 0.5-1h; (2) transferring the semen into a 15DEG C condition, and carrying out cooling balancing for 3h; (3) conducting centrifugation under a 15DEG C condition (800g, 10min), adding a glycerol-free I solution, slowly lowering the temperature to 5DEG C, performing balancing for 2h, then adding a glycerol-containing II solution, and then conducting subpackaging; (4) carrying out the freezing procedure, then putting the product into liquid nitrogen for preservation; (5) carrying out unfreezing on the contrary to the freezing principle; and (6) detecting the quality of the unfrozen semen.
