D2D (Dimension To Dimension) pair/D2D cluster communication building method

The invention discloses a D2D (Dimension To Dimension) pair/D2D cluster communication building method which comprises the following steps that: 1) initiator user equipment actively sends a cluster building request signaling code to a base station via a honeycomb link, wherein the content of the cluster building request signaling code comprises a communication mode, user equipment capability and a business label; 2) after the base station receives the cluster building request signaling code, the relevant information of the initiator user equipment is measured and analyzed so as to be combined with a system information selecting and scheduling mechanism to broadcast the cluster building request signaling code; 3) after the initiator user equipment and the adjacent user equipment receive the cluster building request signaling code, analysis is carried out by aiming at a cluster building strategy message; 4) the initiator user equipment sends a channel probing signal; the adjacent user equipment measures the D2D link quality; and the adjacent user equipment, which satisfies the requirement and serves as the candidate cluster use equipment, sends the cluster building confirmation message. According to the D2D pair/D2D cluster communication building method, the traditional cluster communication building flow simplified, resources are saved, and time delay is lowered.

System, method, and apparatus for portable design, deployment, test, and optimization of a communication network

A system and method which employ one or more portable hand held computers and one or more servers, allows a field engineer to complete the entire design, deployment, test, optimization, and maintenance cycle required to implement successful communications networks. The portable hand held computer provides the user with a three-dimensional display of the physical environment in which a communications network will be deployed or optimized. The engineer may take the portable hand held computer into the field, and make alterations to the components, position of the components, orientation of the components, etc. based on on-site inspection. As these alterations to the computerized model are made, predictions for the effects these changes will have on the communications network are displayed to the engineer. Measurements may also be made using equipment connected to or contained in the portable hand held computer, and these measurements may be used to optimize performance criteria. Information can be transmitted to and from the portable hand held computer and the server to allow for complex processing to be performed using portable computer. The system allows the engineer to remain in the field while deploying the communications network, making measurements within the network, receiving optimized predictions on the performance of the network, re-configuring the communications network and associated components, and repeating the entire cycle to achieve maximum possible performance with minimal required time or effort.

Inline storage protection and key devices

A generalized-topology heterogeneous time-variant computing environment (CE) is defined, which includes generalized Usage Devices (UDs), Storage Devices (SDs), and Data Links (DLs). It includes as SDs all physical or virtual devices which may be used to store data and on which data may be accessed via an Access Protocol (AP), including devices of types not conventionally recognized as SDs. An Inline Storage Protection Device (ISPD) is defined, which is enabled for use by a physically distinct ISPD Key device (ISPDK) which must be removed after enablement. An ISPD protects using encryption the data on an SD associated with it, and simultaneously it applies data usage Policy and performs Auditing of data usage. In another operating scenario, an ISPD may function as a simple data protection device without applying Policy or performing Auditing, but in such operation excluding particular types of SDs addressed by similar devices in the prior art. In another operating scenario, an ISPD of either type maintains its SD as equivalent in content to an SD supplied by an external Coordinating Storage facility. In this usage multiple ISPDs in multiple CEs may coordinate against a single Coordinating Storage facility and thus maintain effectively identical SDs, each of which is protected independently of the others by its ISPD.
