The invention discloses a support device for cleaning an engine connecting rod. The support device comprises a base, two hydraulic supports and a pneumatic support. The base comprises supports, bottom face braces and a pair of moving slide rails, wherein the bottom face braces are mounted on the lower sides of the supports, and the moving slide rails are mounted on the upper sides of the supports. The moving slide rails comprise guide rails, sliding blocks meshed with the guide rails and a push rod fixing the two sliding blocks together. The two hydraulic supports are spaced from each other and mounted on the two sliding blocks respectively. Each hydraulic support comprises a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic lever locating pin, wherein the hydraulic lever locating pin is arranged on a piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder and used for limiting ascending of the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder. The pneumatic support comprises an air cylinder and an air cylinder locating pin, wherein the air cylinder locating pin is used for limiting extension and contraction of the air cylinder, and a cylinder rod of the air cylinder penetrates through a pin hole of the air cylinder locating pin and is connected with the push rod. Compared with the prior art, the support device for cleaning the engine connecting rod can clean dead angles of the connecting rod well and facilitate cleaning of mass connecting rods.
