Abstract

The invention discloses a novel regional intelligent traffic signal lamp system, and mainly provides an intelligent signal lamp system which can automatically adjust the time limit of traffic signal lamps through remote control or according to traffic flow monitoring data for a regional road system. The novel regional intelligent traffic signal lamp system is mainly based on an NATS traffic signal lamp system technology. An NATS traffic signal lamp system adopts a three-level distributed hierarchical basic control structure including a center control level, a regional control level and a crossing control level. A data communication control machine provides a communication channel for a regional control computer and outdoor equipment. A crossing signal machine is responsible for collecting, processing and transmitting traffic information and controlling the color of a signal lamp at a crossing. Installation positions of a ring coil detector and a microwave detector can be distributed at a crossing or in a road section. A dynamic map plate displays the traffic state of a controlled region in real time.
