Abstract

In the embodiment of the method and the device, a noise-containing communication signal output from a power line communication channel is received, and encoded as the instantaneous frequency of an analytic signal. With the help of concentrating features of the analytic signal, the peak of the time-frequency distribution of the analytic signal is regarded as instantaneous estimation. The instantaneous estimation is estimation of the original communication signal that passes through the communication channel. Then, the noise in the power line communication channel is reduced, and the communication signal is processed by a balancer and a matching filter and is demodulated to gain high quality.
