Abstract

Whether an individual has liver fibration or liver cirrhosis conditions or not is determined through detecting the level of CHI3L1 in an individual sample. The kit includes: (1) an antibody bound to the CHI3L1; (2) a labeled antibody bound to the CHI3L1 when the CHI3L1 is bound to the antibody limited in (1); and (3) a standard sample composed of a solution containing a known amount of the CHI3L1, wherein the CHI3L1 is from serum of a liver fibration or liver cirrhosis patient caused by the hepatitis B virus infection.
