When the need of the terminal surge is changed, an on-load voltage regulation tap switch receives a trigger signal; a current detection zero-crossing device realizes transition between the two antiparallel thyristor taps; a follow current device solves the problem that the thyristor produces the dead zone in the process of transition; in the meantime, the follow current device is adopted to solve the dead zone produced during the transition of the thyristor, which assists the load voltage regulation tap switch to switch on and off so as to finish the switching of the switch tap.
