no. 2 Embodiment approach

[0117] 3. The second embodiment (continuous AF)

[0118] 3.1. Endoscopic device

[0119] Figure 14 A configuration example of an endoscope apparatus in the second embodiment is shown. The endoscope device includes a light source unit 100 , an imaging unit 200 , a control device 300 (processor unit), a display unit 400 , and an external interface unit 500 . In addition, the same reference numerals are assigned to the same constituent elements as those described in the first embodiment, and description thereof will be appropriately omitted.

[0120] The imaging unit 200 includes an optical fiber 210 , an illumination lens 220 , an objective lens 230 , a focusing lens 240 , an imaging element 260 , a freeze switch 270 , and a lens driving unit 280 . The lens drive unit 280 continuously drives the position of the focus lens 240 according to an instruction from the lens position control unit 320 (continuous AF).

[0121] Here, continuous AF refers to AF in which an operation o...

Abstract

An endoscope device comprises: an image acquisition unit which acquires multiple in vivo images obtained by imaging an in vivo subject with an imaging optical system; a focus evaluation value calculation unit (contrast value calculation unit (336)) which calculates a focus evaluation value for each in vivo image of the multiple in vivo images; a focus control unit (lens position control unit (320)) which controls focusing operation of the imaging optical system on the basis of the focus evaluation value; and a freeze image setting unit (337) which selects at least one in vivo image out of the multiple in vivo images on the basis of the degree of focusing represented by the focus evaluation value and sets the selected at least one in vivo image as a freeze image.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an endoscope device, a control method of the endoscope device, and the like. Background technique [0002] In an imaging device such as an endoscope, a pan-focus image is required so as not to hinder a doctor's diagnosis. Therefore, an optical system with a large F number is used in endoscopes to achieve this performance by increasing the width of the depth of field. However, in recent years, high-pixel imaging elements of approximately hundreds of thousands of pixels have been used in endoscope systems. In a high-pixel imaging element, since the permissible circle of confusion decreases together with the pixel pitch, the F-number needs to be reduced, and the width of the depth of field of the imaging device becomes narrow. Therefore, it is difficult to maintain pan focus. [0003] For example, in Patent Document 1, an endoscope device is disclosed in which a drive unit for driving the lens position of the objective ...
