This coating composition contains a coating film-forming resin, a crosslinking agent, at least one vanadium compound selected from the group consisting of alkaline earth metal salts of vanadic acid and magnesium vanadate, and magnesium triphosphate, the vanadium compound being a compound having electrical conductivity of 200 [mu]S / cm-2,000 [mu]S / cm at a temperature of 25 DEG C in a 1 mass% aqueous solution. The vanadium compound content, expressed with respect to a total of 100 mass parts of the solids fraction of the coating film-forming resin and the solids fraction of the crosslinking agent, is more than 50 mass parts, but no more than 150 mass parts.
