According to the clethodim aromatic-free missible oil and the preparation method thereof, methyl oleate is mixed with the emulsifier, the clethodim raw material can be well dissolved, and the obtained missible oil has better stability and dispersity; the methyl oleate is adopted to replace benzene solvent in the missible oil, the usage amount of solvent such as benzene, methylbenzene and xylene in the missible oil is reduced, and damage of the benzene solvent to the environment and human health is reduced; the methyl oleate is wide in source and low in cost, and therefore the cost of the missible oil is reduced.
