Abstract

The invention discloses a current sharing device of a lightning arrester with two parallel column valves. The current sharing device comprises lightning arrester resistance valves and also comprises an iron core and two coils, wherein the two coils are wound around the iron core, the winding directions of the two coils conform to the way that magnetic flux directions generated by the two coils in the iron core are opposite, incoming lines of the two coils are separately connected in series with the lightning arrester resistance valves, and outgoing lines of the two coils are connected to the same grounding down lead. By the device, the lightning arrester with the two parallel column valves can be effectively prevented from being damaged or exploded by accident due to difference among parameters of the valves and conduction of a single valve caused by valve aging.
