Abstract

The invention discloses an intelligent substation process layer network modeling method based on OPNET. The method comprises following steps of building simulation models of various IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Device) of an intelligent substation in an OPNET environment, wherein the step of building the simulation models comprises building a combined unit simulation model, building an intelligent terminal simulation model, building a protection device simulation model and building a measuring and control device simulation device; using random numbers satisfying a distribution rule to simulate the data streams in an intelligent substation process layer network; and according to the built IED simulation models, through adoption of link connection of 100M bandwidth, building the intelligent substation process layer network with a set topological structure. Through adoption of the intelligent substation network model built by the method as a platform, indexes such as transmission delay, jitter and a packet loss rate of various data messages can be clearly and visually inspected; whether the indexes satisfy the IEC61850 standard or not is evaluated; and new ideals are provided for the designing and maintaining work of the intelligent substation network.
