The invention discloses application of denatonium benzoate in preparing a bactericide for preventing and controlling plant diseases caused by phytopathogen.It is proved through indoor toxicity measurement that denatonium benzoate has good inhibitory activity to phytopathogen.Serving as a bactericide, denatonium benzoate has the advantages of being efficient and low in toxicity and meeting the requirement for chemically preventing and controlling plant diseases.At present, bactericide resistance of pathogen is enhanced as a great number of bactericides are used, and the traditional bactericides pollute the environment seriously, are high in residual amount and directly threat food safety of human.Denatonium benzoate is a small molecule compound which is degradable, free of pollution and environmentally friendly, is low in bactericide resistance, safe to non-target organisms, people and livestock and capable of ensuring high quality of agricultural products, fruits and vegetables, meets the requirement for sustainable development and has wide research and market application prospects.
