Abstract

The invention discloses application of Chinese wistaria extract to preparation of health food capable of relieving physical fatigue. The Chinese wistaria extract is prepared by the following method: (a) mixing and crushing dried Chinese wistaria and licorice, performing heat reflux extraction by virtue of a 70 to 80 percent ethanol solution, mixing extracting solutions, and performing concentration until ethanol smell is removed to obtain an ethanol extracting concentrated solution; (b) diluting the ethanol extracting concentrated solution obtained in step (a) with water, and performing extraction and reduced pressure concentration sequentially with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and water saturated n-butyl alcohol to obtain petroleum ether extract, ethyl acetate extract and n-butyl alcohol extract respectively; (c) dissolving the n-butyl alcohol extract in water, performing filtration, enriching active ingredients by virtue of AB-8 type macroporous resin, flushing a volume of 6 to 10 columns with 10 to 20 percent ethanol to remove large polar components, eluting a volume of 8 to 12 columns with 50 to 60 percent ethanol, collecting 50 to 60 percent ethanol eluent, and performing reduced pressure concentration, wherein the amount of the licorice based on the total weight of the Chinese wistaria and the licorice is 5 to 15 percent.
