The valve disc profile structure comprises a valve disc body, wherein the spherical sealing surface of the valve disc body is provided with match points which are sealed with a valve seat body in a matched manner; and the lower part below the match points of the sealing surface is of a planar structure. The design method comprises the steps that 1, design parameters are determined, and a curve with the radius of RD is drawn as the basic outline profile of the spherical sealing surface of the valve disc body; 2, sealing match points are separately determined on two sides of the basic outline profile; 3, the match points determined on the two sides of the basic outline profile are taken as initial points, and elongation lines which are tangent to the basic outline profile are separately drawn on the basic outline profile below the match points; and 4, a straight line is adopted to connect the bottom ends of the elongation lines drawn on the two sides, and excessive line segments are eradicated, so that the designed outline profile of the spherical sealing surface of the valve disc body mainly consists of an arc-shaped section profile, elongation section profiles and a straight line section profile from top to bottom.
