This invention relates to the field of
gate valve technology, specifically to a
gate valve with a valve core protection structure, comprising a valve disc, a valve core coaxially inserted within the valve disc, and operated vertically and coaxially by a
valve stem. A sealing cover is provided at the top of the valve body, through which the
valve stem slides, supported by a support column and mounting plate. A cylindrical seat is coaxially provided at the bottom of the valve core, with a sliding rod inserted around its outer circumference and equipped with a scraper. A first top spring keeps the valve core in contact with the inner wall of the valve disc, extending its lifespan. An isolation cover is coaxially provided at the bottom of the sealing cover; a semi-circular protective plate achieves isolation and sealing through hinges, protecting the bottom of the valve core. A top rod is connected to the bottom of the sealing cover via an L-shaped hanger, and has a
gear system at its top, allowing the valve core to be raised and lowered via a handwheel. A first bevel is provided at the bottom of the valve core, forming a seal with a second bevel on the inner annular surface of the valve disc. This
gate valve design features a reliable valve core protection structure, is suitable for various industrial applications, and ensures the safe and stable operation of fluid systems.
