The site synchronization system and method for the industrial Ethernet disclosed by the invention comprise: a clock counter is set in an FPGA; the master station is connected to a main control processor; a reference clock parameter is provided for the master station by the clock counter; the master station is used for performing clock synchronization through the reference clock parameter sent by the clock counter, and also used for sending a clock synchronization packet to the corresponding slave station; and the slave station corresponding to the master station is used for performing clock synchronization according to the clock synchronization packet sent by the master station.
