The apparatus comprises: a primary separation rectification unit used for separating light components, heavy components and a middle fraction in a furfural raw material; an extracting separation unit, wherein the extracting separation unit is an extractor, is connected with the primary separation rectification unit, and is used for extracting the middle fraction to separate organic matters and crude furfural in the middle fraction and recovering the organic matters to the primary separation rectification unit; and a purifying and separating unit connected with the extracting separation unit and used for further removing light components and a small amount of heavy components generated due to heating from the separated crude furfural and collecting final furfural. The furfural purifying apparatus adopts the coupling principle in the chemical engineering process to organically couple removal of the light components, removal of the organic water-soluble substances and product purification in order to form the separation and purification unit, so the purposes of technology simplification, energy saving, consumption reduction and yield increase are reached.
