Problems solved by technology

However, the existing counting method requires the use of a single-chip microcomputer with counting registers, and additionally draws input and output circuits for the single-chip microcomputer, which increases production costs
In addition, the main frequency of the single-chip microcomputer is low. When the incremental encoder rotates at high speed or starts up and shakes at high frequency, counting errors will occur due to untimely response.

Abstract

The invention discloses a counting device and method based on an incremental encoder. The method comprises steps that an ARM chip receives level signals input by a first GPIO interface and a second GPIO interface and the level signals are converted into sequential codes; the ARM chip compares the sequential codes with pre-stored turning codes, wherein the turning codes comprises forward turning codes and backward turning codes; and if the sequential codes are identical to the turning codes, the ARM chip modifies counting values storied in a shared memory according to turning and level signals corresponding to the turning codes. Embodiments of the invention enable the circuit to be simplified, and achieve rapid and effective counting of the incremental encoder.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of electronic equipment, in particular to a counting device and method based on an incremental encoder. Background technique [0002] The incremental encoder converts the displacement into a periodic electrical signal, and then converts the electrical signal into a counting pulse, and uses the number of pulses to represent the magnitude of the displacement. When the shaft of the incremental encoder rotates, there is a corresponding pulse output, and the judgment of the rotation direction and the increase or decrease of the number of pulses are realized by the direction judgment circuit and the counter at the rear. The counting starting point can be set arbitrarily, which can realize multi-turn infinite accumulation and measurement. It is also possible to use a Z signal that sends out a pulse per revolution as a reference mechanical zero position. One rotation of the encoder shaft will output fixed pulses, ...
