Abstract

A coal-rock sorting and utilizing method for a coal-rock co-mining working surface is provided and particularly suitable for sorting and utilization of coal and rock which are mined through a coal-rock co-mining working surface when an extremely thin coal seam is adopted as a protective layer during multiple-seam combined mining. The method includes directly building an underpit gangue transferring, storing and filling system in a pit, conveying a large amount of coal gangue mined though the coal-rock working surface to an underpit sorting and washing chamber to perform efficient coal gangue separation, crushing the sorted gangue, and filling a worked out section of the protective layer with the crushed gangue, thus achieving green filling and mining of the protective layer at the same time of no gangue lifting, and effectively preventing ground surface settlement caused by multiple-seam combined mining. Sorted middlings are conveyed through a main conveying system to a ground gangue power plant to generate electricity, thus relieving pressure on mine coal quality at the same time of generating benefits to the power plant, decreasing the average ash content of commercial coal and raising the selling price. The method achieves efficient separation of coal from the gangue, achieves efficient utilization of the coal and rock, and has significant economic and social benefit and good popularization value.
