The method comprises the following steps: acquiring open-pit mine slope monitoring basic data acquired by the measurement robot, respectively computing residual error and mean square error of a monitoring point azimuth angle and a monitoring point vertical angle; establishing a gross error screening model, and performing gross error rejection on the azimuth angle data and the monitoring point vertical angle data according to the residual error and the mean square error of the azimuth angle and the vertical angle; determining an orienting azimuth correction value according to a monitoring base point K1 and a rear viewpoint K2, and correcting the orienting azimuth of the measured and filtered monitoring point azimuth angle data according to the orienting azimuth correction value so as to obtain the processed monitoring point azimuth angle; determining a fixed side length correction coefficient of the horizontal distance according to the monitoring base point K1 and the rear viewpoint K2, and correcting the fixed side length of the filtered slant distance data of the monitoring point according to the fixed side length correction coefficient of the horizontal distance so as to obtain the processed monitoring point horizontal distance.
