Abstract

The invention provides a process for preparing a CO gas. The process mainly comprises the following steps of (1) preparing a raw gas from coke, carbon dioxide and oxygen in a gas-making furnace, recovering heat, cooling and removing tar dust; (2) removing ingredients of HCl, HCN, NOx, SO3, AsH3 and PH3; (3) heating the gas to 200-230 DEG C and entering a COS hydrolysis-H2S direct oxidation reactor, hydrolyzing COS and CS2 into H2S, reacting the H2S generated by hydrolysis and the H2S contained in a process gas with SO2 and O2 contained in the process gas to convert the H2S into elemental sulfur; (4) entering a condenser to separate the elemental sulfur and then entering an oxidative desulfurization tower for desulfurization, and treating an exhaust gas containing organic sulfur and organic matters after elemental sulfur separation of the condenser in the gas-making furnace during thermal regeneration of the desulfurization tower; and (5) removing CO2 from an outlet gas of the oxidative desulfurization tower to prepare the CO gas. The separated CO2-enriched gas returns to the gas-making furnace to be recycled.
