Problems solved by technology

Among them, the method based on the spatial light modulator is limited by the spatial light modulator itself, cannot realize large-scale holographic display, and has problems such as low diffraction efficiency due to zero-order light interference.
The material-based holographic display is not only limited by factors such as the display size, resolution, and diffraction efficiency of the material, but it is also difficult to achieve rapid refresh of the image.

Abstract

The invention discloses a two-phase dynamic holographic device based on a polarization-sensitive metal nano antenna. The two-phase dynamic holographic device comprises a polarizer, a first liquid crystal layer, the polarization-sensitive metal nano antenna, a second liquid crystal layer, a polarization detector and a receiving screen, wherein the polarizer is used for converting light of a light source into a linearly polarized light; the linearly polarized light is emitted in a polarized state after passing through the first liquid crystal layer; polarized light generates a scattered light component perpendicular to incident polarization through a polarization-sensitive metal nano antenna layer; emergent light of the polarization-sensitive metal nano antenna layer sequentially passes through the second liquid crystal layer and the polarization detector to generate a polarization component with phase information; screened light finally reaches the receiving screen to form a needed holographic image; and the first liquid crystal layer and the second liquid crystal layer are 90-degree twisted nematic type liquid crystals. The two-phase dynamic holographic device is low in modulating voltage, is high in resolution, solves the defect that conventional dynamic hologram has difficulty in realizing fast refreshing and large-area displaying integrating through independent amplitude and phase control, and has very good development and application potential.

Description

technical field [0001] The patent of the present invention belongs to the field of optical components, systems or instruments, and mainly relates to applications in recording and imaging systems, and specifically relates to a two-phase dynamic holographic device based on polarization-sensitive metal nano-antennas. Background technique [0002] Holography, since its birth, has attracted much attention for its completeness of recorded information. It has the advantages of obtaining three-dimensional information of objects in one recording and restoring the original three-dimensional appearance of objects under the action of reproduced light. Especially in the realization of dynamic three-dimensional display, holographic technology has great potential. Traditional dynamic holography is mainly divided into two categories, namely, dynamic holography based on spatial light modulator diffraction and dynamic holography based on special materials. Among them, the method based on the...
