A coplanar capacitance-type polymer molecule orientation measurement device and method, the measurement device comprising: a sensor probe array (10), a capacitance measurement unit (13), and an orientation computing module (14); the sensor probe array (10) comprises multiple groups of coplanar electrodes, any group of coplanar electrodes comprising at least two conductive electrodes; the capacitance measurement unit (13) is used for measuring the capacitance between any two conductive electrodes from within the same coplanar electrodes, and for obtaining multiple groups of capacitance data; the orientation computing module (14) is used for computing, according to the multiple groups of capacitance data, the molecular orientation of a polymer to be measured. By using the anisotrophy of the dielectric properties of a polymer material, polymer molecule orientation is measured by means of a coplanar electrode structure, thus establishing a relationship among orientation–dielectric–capacitance.
