Embodiment 1

[0034]The preparation method of propolis ethanol extract: Weigh 100g propolis, use a grinder to grind into powder, extract propolis sample with 1L 95% (v / v) ethanol, and ultrasonicate at 40°C for 3h (frequency 600KHz, power 600W). The supernatant after ultrasonication was filtered with No. 4 filter paper to remove residual impurities. Re-infiltrate the residual impurities with 95% (v / v) ethanol and sonicate for 3 hours, collect the filtered supernatant, repeat the above operation, and extract a total of 3 times. Afterwards, all the filtrates were collected centrally, and evaporated and recovered using a 50° C. reduced-pressure rotary evaporator. Finally, the propolis ethanol extract is obtained by drying in an oven until the extract has a constant weight, and the extract is stored in a -20°C refrigerator until use.

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of pharmaceuticals, and more particularly to application of a propolis ethanol extract in preparation of medicaments, food and health care products for prevention or treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases. The propolis ethanol extract is obtained by extraction by using 80 to 95% ethanol as a solvent. Research findings show that the propolis ethanol extract can inhibit the health state of a body during the development course of ulcerative colitis, reduce the shortening of the length of the colon, and improve the pathological structure of a colon tissue; therefore, the propolis ethanol extract can be applied to development of medicaments, health care products and food for prevention or treatment of the ulcerative colitis.
