Abstract

According to the metal damper, the corrugated shape of the metal core plate is designed according to the sine wave waveform principle, and the proper metal core thickness, corrugation radius and the corrugation opening angle are selected according to the parameters. Because the sine wave metal damper possesses the sensitive displacement or deformation capacity, displacement or deformation recovery performance and good resistance to low-cycle fatigue elastic-plastic cumulative deformation capacity, thereby improving limit sensitivity of the displacement or deformation to the buildings and bridges; improving the energy-dissipation effect.
