Abstract

The invention discloses a low-complexity HEVC code rate adaptive transform coding method based on an image correlation model. The method comprises the steps of 1, estimating a code rate-quantization parameter model according to a principle that maximum quantization is equal to zero; 2, selecting an initial quantization parameter according to the estimated code rate-quantization parameter model and a target code rate; 3, generating an initial coding tree according to a code rate distortion estimation model; 4, getting an image correlation coefficient and an image energy item based on the image correlation mode; 5, computing a displacement item of a motion vector; 6, estimating a correlation coefficient item via a residual coefficient of each sub-coding unit; and 7, solving a distortion cost, and rapidly selecting a coding mode for transform coding based on a bottom-up coding framework.
