Abstract

The invention brings forward a photovoltaic component branch connector and a component series system utilizing the photovoltaic component branch connector. The series system comprises a plurality of photovoltaic components arranged on both sides of a cable collecting area; positive and negative electrodes of adjacent photovoltaic components on the both sides are separately connected in series with adapters through cables; the positive and negative electrode connecting cables on the both sides are connected to the cable collecting area through a plurality of connectors; the negative electrode connecting cables on the both sides are connected to a negative electrode branch connector; and the positive electrode connecting cables on the both sides are connected to a positive electrode branch connector; and the negative electrode branch connector and the positive electrode branch connector are connected to a combiner box. According to the photovoltaic component series system, the cables are collected through the branch connectors in the cable collecting area and connected to the combiner box. The component series system are simple in routing, and the usage of the cables and connectors is reduced. Meanwhile, the size of the combiner box is reduced. The cost of the component series system and a whole photovoltaic power generation system is reduced. Furthermore, the component series system is high in safety degree.
