Example Embodiment

[0035] In order to make the objectives, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the specific embodiments of the present invention and the corresponding drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those of ordinary skill in the art without creative efforts shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.

[0036] In the existing prism-based AR imaging optical path such as figure 1 As shown in the figure, the virtual image light reflected by the LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) display chip enters the beam splitter through the PBS (polarization beam splitter), and then passes through the semi-transparent and semi-reflective dielectric film of the beam splitter. After bei...

Abstract

The invention provides a prismatic AR (Augmented Reality) display device. The prismatic AR display device comprises an LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) display chip, a polarization beam splitter (PBS), a double cemented lens, a first single lens and a beam splitting prism which are sequentially arranged along a first axis and LCOS lighting equipment which is arranged on a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and close to the PBS, wherein a negative lens in the double cemented lens is close to the PBS, and a positive lens in the double cemented lens is close to the first single lens; a first incident surface of the beam splitting prism is close to the first single lens, and an optical axis of the first incident surface of the beam splitting prism coincides with an optical axis of the first single lens; and an optical axis of a second incident surface of the beam splitting prism is perpendicular to an optical axis of the first incident surface, and the second incident surface is opposite to a first emergent surface. The prismatic AR display device provided by the invention reduces the color difference of a virtual image while allowing the human eyes to view a virtual-real aliasing image.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of AR technology, in particular to a prism-type AR display device. Background technique [0002] Augmented Reality (AR for short) is a technology that calculates the position and angle of camera images in real time and adds corresponding images, videos, and 3D models. This technology superimposes virtual information into real-world scenes, realizing the "seamless" integration of real-world information and virtual world information. [0003] In order to ensure that users can see the aliased virtual image and the real-world scene image, AR technology needs to use imaging technology and light splitting and combining technology. In the existing prism-type AR display device, the imaging light path and the light splitting and combining light path are realized by a light splitting prism. Such a display device causes a large color difference and poor definition in the virtual image seen by human eyes. Contents of ...
