Abstract

Provided are a system and a method for performing control such that a dust collector operates efficiently, on the basis of measurement data of particulate matter volume, particulate matter concentration, and the like, measured by particulate matter sensors which have been disposed in a plurality of locations such as an intake port and an intake path. A dust collector motor can be controlled to a rotation speed which is in accordance with the surrounding environment, when transferring dust and particulate matter with, as a medium, air that can be used in equipment and devices. The dust collector motor is equipped with a controller for controlling the rotational output of a dust collector fan via an inverter provided especially to operate dust collector equipment and devices. On the basis ofmeasurement data measured by a measurement environment sensor / in-duct airflow pressure sensor, a signal of a measured value is wirelessly transmitted to the controller and the appropriate number of rotations for the dust collector motor is determined. When a command is issued from the controller to the inverter, a rotation speed control command for the dust collector motor is outputted so that the work environment is considered and power consumption of the dust collector motor is reduced at all times.
