Abstract

The invention puts forward a method for directly and automatically generating an animation from a static human body model. The method comprises the following steps that: (1) firstly, automatically extracting and identifying five feature points independently positioned on the tail ends of the limbs of the human body and the top of the head, and taking the feature points as starting points to calculate the center line of the equal geodesic of the model; (2) on the center line, according to human body metrology knowledge, determining the approximate positions of articulation points; (3) accordingto human body bond rigid movement characteristics and bone information provided by a movement data file, carrying out the accurate positioning of articulation points; and (4) through a thermodynamicdiffusion equation, calculating vortex weight, finally, adopting a local coordinate frame alignment method for the extracted bone to realize movement data matching, and taking the movement data to drive skin to generate a human body animation.
