Abstract

The invention provides a radio communication base station based three-dimensional positioning method. A mobile terminal is positioned on the basis of information of distance from a communication basestation to the terminal as well as position information of the base station. Spreading time of an electric signal is converted into distance, and coordinates of the terminal is solved on the basis that coordinates of the base station are known. The electric signal is influenced by factors including non-line-of-sight spreading, measuring precision and clock asynchrony in the spreading process, an error model of the measurement distance needs to be established, a conversion relation between the measurement distance and real-distance is found, and a relatively accurate positioning model is established in a certain specific scene. Positioning is carried out on the premise that there are at least for communication base stations within the communication radius scope of the mobile terminal. The precision of a positioning algorithm is dependent on the number of base stations of a place of the terminal. The invention further provides a communication base station selecting strategy in the scene.
