Abstract

A driver integrated circuit for driving a display panel and its fan-out compensation method are disclosed. The driver integrated circuit includes a driver channel circuit and a compensation control circuit. During normal operation, the driver channel circuit outputs pixel voltages to drive the data lines of the display panel. The driver channel circuit includes a compensation element for adjusting the output resistance value, output slew rate, or output timing of the output terminal of the driver channel circuit according to a set value. The compensation control circuit is coupled to the data lines of the display panel and the compensation element of the driver channel circuit. During initialization, the compensation control circuit detects the impedance information of the data lines. The compensation control circuit adjusts the set value accordingly based on the impedance information and outputs the set value to the compensation element.
