The invention discloses an assessment method of internet of vehicles fog computing capacity under a back-connecting mode. The assessment method comprises the following steps: acquiring initialized data; computing the distance to other all vehicles in the internet of vehicles from each vehicle and acquiring the distance minimum value at each time point, and computing the distance to an original point set in advance in the internet of vehicles from each vehicle, and acquiring the distance minimum value; adding the vehicle in the internet of vehicles, and updating the moment of the last connecting starting point of the vehicle as the current moment; updating data information of the internet of vehicles; and computing assessment information of the internet of vehicles, thereby accomplishing the fog computing capacity assessment in the internet of vehicles. Through the assessment method of internet of vehicles fog computing capacity under the back-connecting mode provided by the invention,the internet of vehicles fog computing capacity is evaluated through the vehicle amount and the computing capacity in the internet of vehicles, the internet of vehicles fog computing capacity under the back-connecting mode can be scientifically and reasonably assessed and evaluated; and the method is simple and reliable.
