Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic riveting system based on machine vision. The system comprises an automatic control system, a riveting machine, a frame, and a pot body conveying mechanism and a pot handle conveying mechanism arranged on the two sides of the frame side by side; a pot body grabbing robot and a pot handle grabbing robot are arranged below the frame; a visual identifying device isarranged on a cross beam of the frame, and is used for detecting coordinates and angles of a pot body and a pot handle and position deviation data of rivet holes and transmitting to the automatic control system; and the automatic control system compensates the position deviation into the motion displacements of the pot body grabbing robot and the pot handle grabbing robot, and sends riveting signals to the riveting machine when accurate positions of the rivet holes are detected. The system adopts the visual identifying device and an image processing technology to identify the position deviation of the pot body and the angle deviation of the rivet holes and to automatically correct the operation trajectory so as to realize automatic riveting assembly of the pot body and the pot handle.
