Abstract

The present invention provides a power generation device, capable of efficiently performing heat radiation on a coil portion. The power generation device is provided with a rotor (40), a stator (30),a coil (33), a base member (34) and a radiator (36), wherein the rotor (40) is rotatably driven by a crankshaft (12) of an engine (11), and the rotor (40) is formed through arrangement of a permanentmagnet (43) on an inner circumferential surface of a rotor yoke (42); the stator (30) is formed through stacking of a plurality of electromagnetic steel sheets; the coil (33) is formed by winded wireson a plurality of stator cores (31) opposed to the permanent magnets (43) of the rotor (40); the base member (34) is disposed on the inner circumference of the stator (30); the radiator (36) is arranged at a substantially central portion in the thickness direction of the stator cores (31) in a manner of being clamped by the electromagnetic steel sheets; and the base member (34) and the radiator (36) are made of materials having a higher thermal conductivity than the electromagnetic steel sheets of the stator (30).
