Abstract

The sizing process comprises the following steps of (1) putting 1-2 parts by weight of grease, 2.3 parts by weight of emulsified oil,1.2 parts by weight of trimethylolpropane, 2.3 parts by weight of polypropylene glycol, 17 parts by weight of original starch into 30 parts by weight of deionized water in sequence, mixing uniformly;(2) then putting 0.9 parts by weight of polyoxyethylene oleate, 1.8 parts by weight of sulfated castor oil, 0.5 parts by weight of benzotriazole, and 2.1 parts by weight of fumaric acid in sequence, stirring till mixing uniformly, so as to prepare a sizing agent; and (3) soaking yarns in the sizing agent for sizing, pressing to remove surplus liquid, and drying. The yarns after sizing has smooth hair, has much stronger strength, is wear resistant, and has good extensibility.
