Embodiment 1
[0132] A pourable thixotropic machine dishwashing product was prepared based on the formulation shown in Table 1.
[0135] 1 contains approximately 48 wt% GLDA and 45 wt% water
[0136] 2 Contains approximately 85 wt% GLDA and 9 wt% water
[0137] 3 Coated percarbonate, 98% by weight, 0.2mm to 1.4mm
[0138] The product is prepared as follows: A liquid premix is prepared by mixing glycerol and xanthan gum into a homogeneous suspension. Next, add demineralized water with constant stirring. Afterwards, give Dissolvine at ambient temperature TM GL 47-S and citric acid. Next, the Dissolvine TM PD-S mixed in. Finally, ...
Embodiment 2
[0141] Thixotropic machine dishwashing compositions were prepared based on the formulations shown in Table 2.

[0143]
[0144] *A and B are comparative examples.
[0145] Compositions were prepared in batches of 3 kg in a Unimix (from Haagen & Rinau) mixer operating under vacuum at 70 rpm while maintaining the temperature of the mixer contents at 20°C. The mixing procedure used is as follows:
[0146] ●Introduce glycerin and xanthan gum and mix for 20 minutes;
[0147] ●Add demineralized water and continue stirring for 20 minutes;
[0148] ●Add citric acid solution and Dissolvine TM GL 47-S, continue mixing for 5 minutes;
[0150] ●Join Lutensol TM AT80 and carbonate, continue stirring for 30 minutes;
[0151] • Add percarbonate and continue mixing for 35 minutes.
[0152] These compositions were analyzed for water activity and stability. The results are shown in Table 3.

Abstract
The invention provides a detergent suspension comprising 70-99.5 wt.% of a fluid phase and 0.5-30 wt.% of suspended particles having a diameter of at least 0.1 mm, said detergent suspension comprising: 8-30 wt.% of water; 20-75 wt.% of glycerol; 8-40 wt.% of builder; and 0.01-1 wt.% of structuring biopolymer selected from xanthan gum, locust bean gum, guar gum, gum Arabic, gellan gum, carrageenan, carboxymethyl cellulose, microcrystallinecellulose, microfibrous cellulose and combinations thereof; wherein the combination of water and glycerol represents at least 40 wt.% of the detergent suspension and wherein water and glycerol are present in a weight ratio of water to glycerol of less than 2:3. The detergent suspension according to the invention has a very low water activity, is very stable and easy to manufacture.
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to detergent compositions in the form of suspensions. More specifically, the present invention relates to detergent compositions comprising a fluid phase and suspended particles, wherein the fluid phase comprises water, glycerol, a builder and a structured biopolymer, wherein the combination of water and glycerin accounts for the detergent suspension of at least 40% by weight. wherein water and glycerol are present in a weight ratio of water to glycerol of less than 2:3. [0002] The detergent suspensions of the present invention may be provided in the form of pourable viscous products or semi-solid gels. Background technique [0003] Detergent formulations typically contain many different active ingredients, including surfactants, builders, enzymes and bleaches. [0004] Surfactants are used to release stains and soils and to disperse the released components into the cleaning solution. Surfactants are also used to pro...
